Information we collect

We collect information to provide vehicle weight information to the user.  We intend to make our users more informed about the working of their business.

We collect information in the following ways

  • For example, we collect your username and password used to set up an AppWeigh account.  We also collect and store the vehicle names and license plate information that you provide.  We also collect calibration data when that is entered into the app.

Metadata information from the App

  • Device information
  • We collect device specific information such as a unique phone identifier.
  • Log information
  • We also collect vehicle weight data, as well as location and time data when the app is used.
  • We may collect and store information locally on your device until such time as it can be sent to the cloud.

How we use information that we collect

  • We store the information so that we can troubleshoot any technical difficulties with the application and in the future allow opting in to sharing information with fleet management software or electronic log software.

Information we share

  • We do not share the information that we collect with anyone without the account owners consent.
